Ignition Interlock Laws by State

Every row below is drawn from the same verified record that powers that state's page: the first-offense interlock rule and minimum period, the repeat-offense period, whether an SR-22 (or FR-44) filing is required and for how long, and the reinstatement fee. Click a state for the statute citation, approved vendors, sources, and the date the record was last checked.

Values are the general rule stated by the statute or licensing agency. Blood-alcohol level, refusals, prior offenses, commercial licensing, and court orders can change what applies in a particular case.
