About WheelsBack

WheelsBack is an independent reference site covering the driving-related requirements that follow a DUI or DWI conviction or administrative suspension in the United States: ignition interlock device programs, state-approved device vendors, SR-22 and FR-44 insurance filings, and license reinstatement.

The site is registry-driven. A single set of data files holds every state record, and every page, table, citation, and sitemap entry is generated from those files at build time. There is no content management system and no hand-edited page copy for state data.

The rules that follow a DUI are scattered across statutes, administrative codes, court orders, and agency web pages, and most of what ranks in search is written by parties with something to sell. This site collects the official rules in one place, cites each one, and links out — so a reader can confirm every figure at the source.

WheelsBack is not affiliated with any state agency, court, insurer, law firm, or interlock vendor. Vendor entries appear because a state's licensing agency lists that vendor as approved, and each entry links to the agency's own list so the reader can confirm it directly.

The site does not rank, rate, or endorse vendors or attorneys. Any paid placement that is ever introduced will carry a visible "Advertising" label and will be described on the disclosures page.
