Data and Downloads
Everything the comparison tables show is downloadable: the verified value for every state, the statute or agency page it was taken from and the date the record was last read, as CSV and JSON. The files are produced from the same records as the pages, at the same time, so they never lag behind them.
All of it is free to reuse under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0: copy, adapt and republish it, including commercially, with credit and a link to WheelsBack.
State requirements
One row per verified jurisdiction. The columns cover the first-offense interlock rule and minimum periods, the SR-22 or FR-44 filing and its period, the reinstatement fee and steps, the approved-vendor list, the interlock removal rule, the hardship license and hearing deadline, interlock exemptions, the points system, DUI expungement and re-examination. Each row names the agency and statute, gives the verification date and links the state page that quotes every source.

DUI compliance burden index
The ranking with every component’s raw value, its points and whether the record states it, plus the weights, so the index can be re-weighted or extended. A component the record does not state scores zero and is flagged; that state’s score is a floor, never an estimate.

License and attribution
The datasets, evidence files and maps are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Attribution names WheelsBack, links the page the data came from and, where there is room, gives the verification date of the copy used, for example:

The values themselves are public law: statutes, regulations and agency publications of the issuing state, which WheelsBack does not claim. The license covers the compilation: the selection of values, their wording, the citations and the dates.
How the data is made
Every value is read from the state statute or the licensing agency’s own page; nothing comes from news, law firms, vendors or encyclopedias. Each value is stored with the URL and a verbatim quotation from that page, and each record carries the date it was last verified in full. Automated checks re-read every cited quotation on its official page on a schedule and flag any that has changed.
A value the source does not state is left empty rather than estimated. Corrections go to corrections@wheelsback.com with the official page that shows the correct value.
